At Pummill ProMark, we are guided by our purpose of dedicated service to our clients – and as always, our first priority is the safety and security of our customers, vendors and employees. As we monitor ongoing developments and safety information related to the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we are following guidelines from public health authorities, including the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and our own operational preparedness plan to ensure business continuity while working to protect the well-being of our customers and our community.
From our President:
To: Pummill ProMark Customers & Employees
From: David R. Pummill, President
RE: Essential Business Status
I wanted to take this time to inform our customers & employees that Pummill ProMark is designated as an essential business as a logistics & distribution provider to other essential businesses who manufacture Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and cleaning/sanitizing products for use in health care and public health application. The guideline to certain companies as issued on March 16th by the president states that:
“If you work in a critical infrastructure industry, as defined by the Department of Homeland Security, such as healthcare services and pharmaceutical and food supply, you have a special responsibility to maintain your normal work schedule.”
More specifically, “Manufactures, Technicians, Logistics, and Warehouse Operators, and Distributors of Medical Equipment, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)” (DHS's Guidance on the Essential Critical Infrastructure Workforce: Ensuring Community and National Resilience in COVID-19 Response, version 1.0 (March 19, 2020)) are considered essential critical infrastructure workers.
This designation provides for our facility to be open and to conduct business operations in order to ensure continuity of functions critical to public health and safety, as well as economic and national security.
Pummill ProMark will continue to reinforce health guidelines as set forth by the CDC in order to provide a safe workplace for our employees. Our team will continue to cover the needs of our valued customers in order to assure the absolute minimum disruption to your business during these challenging times.
Dear Local Government Authorities and / or National Guard:
This letter is provided as authorization for Pummill ProMark and our manufacturing, distribution, logistic and warehouse operations partners to continue to operate as an Essential Service during the COVID-19 crisis and required response.
To support the country during this time of emergency, we are operating under a plan to maintain “minimal” operations to meet the essential needs of our customers. As part of this plan, we will only allow essential employees traveling to Pummill ProMark facilities, supply chain facilities and vendor facilities, as safely as possible.
